why

Food is a large part of the workplace, with some employees eating up to two meals a day in a work setting. It’s also a place where employees report experiencing high levels of stress, poor sleep and mental health concerns due to or while at work.

Misinformation about food, nutrition and health is commonplace. Not only this, but workplaces can also be a greatly challenging environment to someone with disordered eating, or a poor relationship to food.

Workplaces are in a unique position to invest in, support wellbeing, as well as respond to public health challenges. They are also a place to provide clear, no nonsense nutrition information to support those with a wide range of nutrition and mental health concerns.
